Mike Leonard

Mike commenced studies at the VSF in February, 1970. He retired from the then DSE in 2006.

Richard (Dick) McCarthy

Richard (Dick) McCarthy is a highly experienced operational forester, with post graduate qualifications in forest management.

His many years’ experience (especially in Papua New Guinea - Dept of Forests, and as Operations Manager APM Forests - AMCOR) in forest management, and plantation development in the public and private forestry sectors, in both temperate and tropical forestry, is recognized globally.

In 2019 he is the Managing Director and Principal Consultant of McCarthy & Associates (Forestry), a global forest consulting and contracting practice.

Barry Marsden

Barry joined the FCV at Orbost in 1966 after qualifying as a motor mechanic, and he first worked on the Errinundra Road project prior to becoming responsible for maintaining the Orbost District vehicle fleet.

He then had a short period at Bruthen, maintaining that District's heavy plant, before transferring to the FCV Main Plant Workshop at Newport.

Peter McHugh

Peter graduated from the Victorian School of Forestry at the end of 1977 and his first postings with the FCV were to Mirboo North and then later to Kallista/Gembrook.
