"Dr Jim Edgar was a VSF student from 1957-59, lectured there from 1966-68 and ran the first official Creswick research station from 1968-71. As Principal and Head of University (Melbourne) Studies from 1978-81, he graduated the first women and last diploma students, introduced overseas group training courses and managed the transition to joint FCV-University operations.
