Sam Isaac - Album (Alves) by Victoria's Forestry Heritage published on 2024-03-18T03:03:13Z Interview by Lesley Alves - 10 November 2000. Sam Isaac was born in Warbuton in 1922. His father was a timber worker and Sam followed the same career from a young age. He gained his steam engine driver's ticket and worked in the Ash Range during the 1940s. Later Sam joined the Lands Department and worked in various jobs including spray hand, and machinery maintenance and purchasing. Sam also worked in a number of other jobs in the timber and rural industries. He retired from the Lands Department in 1986. Source: Adapted from Lesley Alves' Oral History notes.
