28 January 1939
A deputation comprising the shire president (Cr Kay), Messrs J O Drysdale and F J Roberts interviewed the Herald chief of staff, with an appeal for some beneficial publicity to alleviate the tendency of holiday makers to refrain from visiting Healesville. It was pointed out that, as a result of fires in our district, the town was safer than ever before, and much was left to ensure happy holidays for visitors. [HG, 28/1/39] |
