Denis Doyle - Album (Alves) by Victoria's Forestry Heritage published on 2024-03-18T02:32:53Z Interview by Lesley Alves - 19 December 2001. Denis Doyle was born in 1940. He lived all his life in the Alexandra district, where his family were farmers. He left school at the age of fourteen and spent his early working years doing a variety of jobs in the rural sector, with a season as a timber worker at Snobs Creek in the 1950s. In the early 1970s Denis began working on pest eradication for the National Parks Service and eventually became a ranger. In 1986 he transferred into forestry with the Department of Conservation Forests and Lands as a Forest Officer in the Alexandra Region. Source: Adapted from Lesley Alves' Oral History notes.
